Tier 1 Support Technician

PTS is currently looking for two Tier 1 Support Technicians in Brentwood, TN to work on an ongoing contract basis with the strong possibility of transferring to direct.
Day to day:
Positions will be working either Wednesday through Saturday from 10-9pm or Monday through Friday during normal office hours in a small call center type environment. Technicians will be supporting both corporate and retail employees for the company. They will work as part of a team of 6 other individuals who are all working through a ticketing system managing roughly 900/tickets a month. Individual technicians will be responsible for roughly 15 tickets per day. Most support will be over the phone; however, they could also be juggling any walk-ups as well as various side projects. This is a great opportunity for a strong self-starter eager to make an impact and contribute to future standards and structure. Must Haves: 
  • 3+ years’ experience in Tier 1-2 support
  • Experience working in a call center or heavy phone support environment 
  • Excellent customer service skillset including strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to remain calm in high stress situations and under pressure
  • Experience working in a production environment 
  • Experience working out of a ticketing system 
  • Experience with Windows 10, O365 and AD
  • Excellent problem-solving capability 
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows software and systems 
  • Manage time and tasks with minimal supervision 
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment 
  • Ability to participate in occasional shift/on call rotation 
  • Well-kept appearance and professional
  • ServiceNow
  • SolarWinds or any monitoring tools
