PTS Advance is looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer with a Water/WasteWater background. This is a direct hire position with a Northern California Construction Company located in the Bay Area.
The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for the effective management of each individual project by the Project Team is the key to the profitability, success, and growth of the company as a whole. Mechanical Project Engineers are key member of the Project Team and are responsible for assisting the Project Manager and Project Superintendent in the planning, management and administration of projects including project scheduling, shop drawing and submittal review, estimating and jobsite visits. Mechanical Project Engineers may be assigned to either the Project Field Office and or the Main Office depending on specific assignments. Mechanical Project Engineers report to their assigned Project Managers (s). They may report to more than one Project Manager when working on more than one project. Mechanical Project Engineers support and are directed by the Project Superintendent when performing field tasks.

- BS in Construction Management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Self-starter with initiative, enthusiasm, and energy.
- Works well under pressure
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word/Excel/Project
- Project Management Software - Viewpoint preferred
- Primavera Scheduling Software
