They are seeking a Mechanical Engiineer to join their team in Long Beach, CA to support a backlog of refinery related projects in Southern California.
Requirements: The engineer should have a good working knowledge of: NBIC, API Standards, ASME Section II, VIII, IX, strong heat transfer knowledge, heat exchangers Vessel software: Compress and HTRI Drafting software: AutoCAD, Smart Plant Review, Navis Works Vessel modification, End of life calculations, Clip calculations Materials of vessel construction Performing on site field walks and climbing equipment to perform existing and new design verifications
The person will be responsible for supervising teams of engineers in inquiring, evaluating and procurement of static equipment. Leading efforts in evaluating existing equipment modifications and repairs. Estimating engineering hours for the task needed to be performed. Scheduling personnel with the section manager and Department manager.
